Rumours suggest Barcelona have paid 14 million Euros in advance as the Brazilian teenage prodigy looks set to move to the Camp Nou after 2014 World Cup.
Speculations in Brazilian media suggest Barcelona have taken the first steps in securing the services of Santos forward, Neymar.
Reports suggest that Barcelona have tied the Brazilian footballer, who has long been on the agenda of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Barcelona-c39078 and their arch-rivals, Real Madrid.
Neymar will continue playing in native Brazil until the World Cup 2014 is over, and he will leave for Europe after the footballing extravaganza.
The Catalan club have opened their coffers and are rumoured to have paid their Brazilian club 14 million in advance, in order to sign the Brazilian youngster.
The down payment figures roughly one quarter of the 58 million Euros required to bring the prolific forward to the Camp Nou in the future.
However, Neymar’s current employers, Santos, are adamant at keeping hold of their prized possession beyond the World Cup.
Santos head coach, Muricy Ramalho, recently came out in the open to reject transfer notions regarding Neymar and believes the future of the promising footballer is with the Brazilian entity.

"I have already given my opinion on this and everyone has their own, as we are a democratic country,"

Neymar and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and the cash-rich Russian side, Anzhi Makhachkala, are also keeping tabs on the duo.
Both the players look to have a prosperous future with the Canarinha, with Neymar having 16 international appearances and Lucas appearing 11 times for the Brazilian side.
