Barcelona place £35 million limit on Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas – Premier League Update
Barcelona have gone on to finally confirm that they are not going to be paying anything over £35 million for Arsenal http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Captain-c8314 and Spanish World Cup winner, Cesc Fabregas.
Barcelona president, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sandro-c32460 Rosell went on to confirm this speculation, as he went on to address the press, while talking about the possibility of Fabregas returning to the Catalans, who he represented as a youth player.
Fabregas has been linked with a move for Barcelona, for what seems like eternity now. However, this time around, things seem to be proceeding in a rather formal manner, as compared to previous seasons.
Nonetheless, despite this rekindling of Barcelona’s interest in landing Fabregas, Arsene Wenger has gone on to state that he has no intention of letting the twenty four year old midfielder part ways with the club. The manager went on to fight to keep the
player around last season and it seems like he is willing to do the same this time around. However, instead of throwing any tantrums, the manager has simply gone on to place an evaluation of around forty five million pounds on the young midfielders head –
which as we all know now, is ten million pounds too expensive for Barcelona’s liking.
When talking to the press in a recent interview, Rosell is quoted to have said:"I do not know if we will sign Cesc or not. I have no doubt he is keen to come to Barca"
"We have offered less than €40 million [£35m] and if Arsenal do not yield, well then Cesc will not come."
It seems like no matter what happens, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 players did, in hopes of luring Fabregas
away. However, this time around, it seems like both clubs are following a no nonsense approach.
According to most experts, this new found professionalism in the transfer market by both these sides, in regard to this transfer, could just prove to be the reason why this move finally reaches a conclusion once and for all.
That being said, Barcelona are still being labelled as the favourites to come out on top once the dust has settled.
However, how both teams are going to come out on a mutual agreement is quite unimaginable, given the history that the two clubs have, which is going to make it all the more interesting to see just how Barcelona and Arsenal play their cards in the coming
weeks.
