Barcelona planning audacious loan move for January

The current reigning champions of Spain, Barcelona seem to be in the works again to plan an audacious loan move in January. The team is reported to be monitoring the situation of Manchester City winger David Silva at the
Eastlands and claim that the player is not very happy at the club, due to him not finding a regular spot in the starting eleven at the club.
The Spanish World Cup winner, has so far not been performing at the level that he used to perform at Valencia. The player was brought into the English Premier League, after a big money move half way through the World Cup,
however his switch to England has fallen short of what was expected of it initially. However the twenty four year old has in recent weeks, shown signs of the fact that he might just be capable of playing amongst and with the very best in England. This has
however not threatened Barcelona from preparing to move in for the player as soon as the transfer window opens in January.
According to numerous media sources, the Catalans are preparing to make a loan deal for the player, with the option to permanently sign the winger in the summers next year. The team is also willing to offer Manchester City
the exact amount of twenty four million pounds that they spent on Silva in the summers to bring him to the Eastlands.
However Roberto Mancini has recently gone on to admit to the fact that, Silva has finally started to live up to the levels that were expected of him. The player has been almost as good as he was during his days at Valencia
and if he manages to keep doing that, then he can easily become the best player at the star studded Manchester City.
In the past, David Silva had been linked to Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid, but with all those teams failing to pay the amount of money that was demanded by Valencia for the player, he ended up moving to Manchester
City.
On the other hand, the other team that also wished to sign the player in the summers was Barcelona, the team however was far too busy dealing with other affairs involving the club and didn’t manage to capitalize on the situation
at hand.
The player who Barcelona did manage to bring in during the summers was none other than David Silva’s Valencia team mate, David Villa. Considering the fact that both the players have already played together for a couple of
seasons, they would have the chemistry to operate successfully in the Barcelona attack and potentially make the already lethal Catalan offense even more offensive.
However the question that arises now, is the one that involves whether or not Manchester City will be willing to off load Silva. The player has barely been at the club for six months, which means he hasn’t had enough time
to adapt to the English game and despite Manchester City having surplus players and more than enough cash to bring in replacements in the transfer window, the question that arises is does the team want to let go of a player, that just came in to the side this
summer?
That question will however be answered in January, which is why everyone will just have to wait and see what happens in the future.
