Barcelona!!?

Hi,

Could anyone give me a good estimate on money I’m going to barcelona, We are going to parc guell, sagrada familia , pable espanol, nou camp stadium, l’aquarium, Montserrat, shopping at maremagnum, port aventura, cap salou, tarragona, the roman amphithtatre and cathedral we are staying in the playa park hotel and the estimate given was 200-300. Would that be enough and what these places are like is lots of photos to be taken. Thanks for any help in advance

Barecelona is quite expensive depending on what you want to do. If you are from the U.K, then just imagine how much you would need to do the same and knock off about 25%.

You don't say how long you're staying there. I went last week for the day whilst staying in Calella. It was the most beautiful city to look at (but don't touch ! )

But and a big but was the cost of basic items like a milk shake 5.80, tuppeny -halfpenny fan 14 -28 euros, Barcelona footie shirts from 89.50. If you're thinking of buying any gifts then jump on the train and go ANYWHERE. It's a pretty ride along the beaches and any town you stop in will be a fraction of the cost of Barcelona.

I wouldn't have missed it for the world but even a bag of pick'n'mix worked out at 5euros -go, enjoy yourself but spend your money elsewhere or it won't last you 2 days

Yes, I would double that estimate.

All those touristy places are quite expensive, though I don't know the exact prices. Sagrada Familia for example costs approx 8euros to get in.

Maremagnum is expensive as far as I know.

Travel to tarragona costs about 8 euros, then you need to eat there and pay for entry into places....so that day out would be 20 a head, at least, that's if you are being careful with your money.

You CAN get by on 300 though, but with 400/500 it will all be easier.

You can spend lots of money or not much, depending on what you buy.

You can get along fine on 200-300.

You can take lots of pictures, especially at Guell Park, but most sights it is very difficult to get a picture, so take some pictures, and then buy the postcards, which were probably taken from a helicopter.

Don't miss the Dali, and Picasso museums.

i live in tarragona, and no way you can manage to do all that with just 200 euros. i mean, if you want to include food, transportation and hotels, of course. just the ticket for port aventura is 37 euros, and you'll need tickets to get in the sagrada familia, poble espanyol, camp nou, aquarium and the amphitheatre. make that 40 euros more. to move around barcelona, you could buy a 10 travels ticket, that's 7 euros. to get to tarragona by train you'll have to pay 5 euros aprox. And add 20 euros more for extra transportation (salou, port aventura, montserrat, etc). you would have less than 100 euros left. if your budget was 300, you could still cound on 190 more or less, for the hotels and food. if you buy stuff at supermarkets, make sandwiches and stuff, you can make it ;)
