  1. 1.  mediterranean climate.  It was really hot and humid in June, so I would assume pretty warm, but shirtsleeves, not sleeveless.

    2.  Sagrada Familia, The Eixample and the Ramblas, with a walking tour of the Barrí Gotic,  are the most important things to see.

Depends on how much time you have.

Try to get to the Palau Música, if you want to do a concert, that's great, otherwise, there are tours during the day to just look at the architecture.

The Museo Xocolat is really cool, but less visited.

    Picasso museum is supposedly spectacular!

Montjuic, with Poble Espanyol, art museums, Citadel/Castle, at the top, and the Olympic venues.

Walk along the beach, even if there's no swimming to be done (it might still be too cold for that)

Seafood at the Port Vell, along with a big, new modern shopping mall.

    Maritime Museum

If you want side trips, there are small towns all up and down the coast.  We went to Figueres, home of Dalí, and Girona, a wonderful medieval town with a great Jewish Call, but didn't have time to get to Cadaqués, which was home to many impressionist and more modern painters.  To the south, we went to Tarragona, famous for its Roman remains and city wall.  But there are tons to choose from.

Also, Montserrat is a really neat monestary with lots of spiritual and historical value.

Don't know more about the nightlife and bars than that they are great if that's what you want...all night partying.  You need to be careful to not go overboard!

    Have a blast!

  2. The best answer is to offer you the proper websites with all the info you need:

    http://www.bcn.es/turisme/english/turism...

    and

    http://www.barcelona.com/

(the second one has more information, I prefer it, but take a look at both).

As to the weather, that depends on your luck...If you are lucky you'll have some great sunny days, and you may even be able to catch some sun on the beach... If you aren't lucky, you may have spring showers and gray skies. (Check the weather forecast a couple of days before you go on your trip, then you will know more or less what to expect, it is too soon now to know. (You could look it up in Yahoo Spain)

(And by the way Grazie is italian!... In spanish thanks is GRACIAS.)

    De nada (you're welcome!)  :-)
