Barcelona has proved it once again to the Real Madrid and has made a huge statement to the others by winning 5-0 over Real in the latest competition of el Clasico.
The match depicted the class in the Barcelona football club. They reflected in the entire match what is considered to be the most pure form of Dominance.
The match started with a lot of expectations from the fans and the critics. There were a lot of speculations. Everyone was doing the stats. All the people had one question at the top of their list, will it be Messi or will it be Ronaldo.
Guardiola's troops retained the top position in the table for Liga BBVA. They caused the first defeat of this season for the Real Madrid. This defeat is not just like any other defeat but one which will test the strength and conviction of Real in true sense
to pull out of this one.
Barcelona seemed to have entered the field with complete determination. In the 6th minute, Messi almost struck for his team as he produced a beautiful left footed curler from an almost impossible angel but the shot was neglected.
In the 10th minute Barcelona got its first against Madrid courtesy some luck as the Madrid defender almost intersected a through ball from Iniesta. The ball was not cleared properly and hence was directed in the rane of Xavi who made a very delicate
finish showing outstanding mental presence as the ball passed Iker Casillas into the net.
The away team fought hard after the first goal, perhaps the only fight they seem to put in the whole match when they produced two chances at different instances but inevitably could not cut across the defence wall of Barcelona.
In the 18th minute Barcelona once again influenced the score line as they were able to get 2 goals ahead after some exuberant work by David Villa. He received a beautiful pass from Xavi and showed skills of a class player to beat Sergio Ramos
and shot a beautiful slightly elevated cross into the box which the Real keeper could not anticipate and hence Pedro made no mistake of putting the ball into the goal.
The pressure was mounting on the Real Madrid in the game. They just could not bear the pressure of being down under in a match which had so much speculation regarding Madrid’s composure compared to Barcelona. The fight was for top position of the table.
Mourinho's soldiers were in desperation. They needed a goal to come back into the game and almost did in the 35th minute when Ronaldo took his famous free kick which he missed very narrowly after surpassing the wall from the top.
An incident almost started a riot in the field when Cristiano Ronaldo pushed the Barcelona manager away who was standing outside the side line with the ball in his hand. Ronaldo just could not keep his calm and hence lost his temper into something which
should have been easily avoidable.
In the 53rd minute all h**l broke loose on Madrid when Barcelona scored their third. The move was made by Messi who shot a beautiful pass which was received by Villa in a single touch who kicked it low very precisely past the keeper who seemed
helpless.
In the 58th minute it seemed Barcelona were just teasing Madrid and made them look like underdogs as they scored yet another one when Messi again played a wonder through ball to Villa who just teased the ball in the goal past Casillas who couldn’t
do much.
By this time Real Madrid were nailed and disrespected. They let their desperation and pressure take over them and yellow cards were flowing all over. Play kept on and 90 minutes mark was achieved.  Three minutes extra time was added which added to the fury
of Real Madrid as in the 91st minute the 5th and the last goal was scored by Barcelona who outclassed Madrid proving who the best was in business. Bojan crossed a beauty which was kicked into the goal by Jeffren. It would have certainly
been a hat-trick had Villa not been substituted.
End to the match was a sour one. Ramos was sent off the field by the referee for pulling out a pathetic fowl on Messi which added to their misery. Barcelona showed total class while no one had anticipated such one sided affair. Barcelona fans went crazy
as everyone had their hands raised showing five fingers reflecting the 5-0 victory. Madrid have a lot to prove after their first loss this season. Will they be able to, is a question that everyone is pondering upon.
