The Juventus youth academy graduate in interesting European big wigs after yet another productive outing in Parma colours.
Sebastian Giovinco’s return of 15 goals in the 2011/12 Serie A campaign has alerted host of clubs needing to reinforce their squads in the attacking third. Barcelona scouts were seen keeping tabs on his progress, while interest of Juventus has not faded
since the arrival of Antonio Conte.
The attacker’s representative, Claudio Pasqualin, reflected on the situation, admitting that his future at the Ennio Tardini looks bleak. He stated that the Old Lady are meeting Parma officials to resolve their co-ownership agreement, while a host of European
big wigs can also join the hunt for his signature.
Pasqualin shed light on his client’s links with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, and revealed that Catalan club’s scouts have been spotted keeping an eye on him during the course of the season.
He added that German champions, Borussia Dortmund, and Spanish La Liga holders, Real Madrid, have also made contacts regarding his availability. However, he played down the links with the duo as no concrete talks have taken place until now.
Continuing on the subject, the witty business agent revealed that there is interest from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 as well, with Manchester City in line to further bolster their squad and make a summer transfer bid. He stated that the Citizens have made enquiries to partner
him in attack with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937.
“Juve and Parma will have to resolve his co-ownership arrangement, but it’s no secret that Barcelona have sent scouts to watch him play," the agent said.
“Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid? It's one thing to be interested in a player, it’s another to start talks.”
“Nevertheless, they are not the only two sides to have requested information; Manchester City have as well.”
With widespread interest in his services, Giovinco has revealed his desire to return to Turin in Juventus’ colours. However, Pasqualin stated that they have yet to get in contact with Antonio Conte.
“I still haven’t spoken to [Juventus coach Antonio] Conte and neither has D’Amico,” Pasqualin noted. “Once we have then we’ll be able to give you an answer on that possibility.”
The 25-year-old is currently nursing a minor knee injury.
