Barcelona vs. Malaga – Spanish La Liga – Half Time Report (Part 2)
It was the Brazilian full back Daniel Alves who got the ball at his feet after a pass from Xavi Hernadnez. It looked as if the right back might cross the ball in towards the 18 yard box but he moved back and delivered the ball inch perfect

With only a minute gone, Xavi Hernandez looked to be passing the ball towards the run-making Lionel Messi but the Ballon d’Or finalist decided to take his shot on goal. The midfield maestro’s shot was simply fabulous but only found the
cross bar as it brushed off Sergio Asenjo’s shoulder and Martin Demicheles was there to shoot it clear.
There was more action to follow for the home team who were totally dominating the game against Malaga. It was Lionel Messi who started the move from the centre of the pitch. The Argentinean dribbled past three Malaga players and after

After the second goal, Xavi Hernandez lobbed the ball towards Daniel Alves. The Brazilian made his way towards the ball but pulled his hamstring on the way. After laying down on the ground in pain, the Barcelona star was taken off as another
former Sevilla fullback Adriano came on to replace him.
With this tragedy opportunities to score from the right flank shortened as a left footed right back was playing for Barcelona. However, the Catalans took their game to the next level, concentrating in the heart of the pitch. Lionel Messi
often fell deep into the midfield to create chances for the Spanish Champions and that soon paid off for them. The Argentinean striker found Andres Iniesta making a run inside the penalty area and delivered an inch perfect ball towards him. The Spaniard took

With Pedro Rodriguez’s goal, the score became 3-0 and which was goal number 60 of the first half by Barcelona during this season. Perdro Rodriguez’s goal was his 11th in a consecutive Spanish La Liga fixture.
The first half ended with Barcelona winning it 3-0. Josep Gurdiola’s men looked to be unstoppable this week as well as they took on the struggling Malaga side. Lionel Messi had a few opportunities coming at him towards the end of the first
half but he failed to deliver twice and the score line remained 3-0. However, on any other day it could have been 6 or 7-0.
