Barcelona’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 wants to complete hiss trophy cabinet by winning the Champions League
Barcelona defender, Adriano Correia, has insisted upon completing his set of silverware by winning the final of the UEFA Champions League against Manchester United. The two teams will light the Arena on Saturday, May 28 at Wembley. Adriano hoped to perform
a repeat of 2007/08 when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 defeated the same opponents by a 2-0 margin in Rome.
The versatile player mentioned that he has had some great moments with the Catalan giants and also expressed his delight upon winning La Liga. Adriano urged his side to make one final push in order to complete a double this season, and second successive
win in the final over the Red Devils.
The Brazilian joined the Catalan giants in 2010 and since then has made 15 League appearances for the club. He is yet to open his account for Pep Guardiola’s side. The 26-year-old has also made nine appearances to date for the Brazilian national side but
hasn’t found the net so far.
He joined the club after spending five years with Sevilla, where he made 157 League appearances while also bagging 11 goals. He won the UEFA Cup twice with Sevilla and as many times has lifted the Copa del Rey trophy. The defender c*m midfielder has now
wished to complete his trophy cabinet by clinching the Champions League crown.
He added, “In Europe I have won everything apart from the Champions League, so it’s a big motivation for me. I want to complete my collection by beating Manchester United.”
The 26-year-old praised the officials who gave him a chance to play for the Catalan giants and also thanked the fans for their continuous support. He expressed his desire to feature in the starting XI and put curtains on United hopes for the second time.
He also warned his team against any complacency and told them that Manchester United would definitely come hard in their bid to complete a double themselves and take revenge of the earlier final.
Both teams are desperately waiting for the moment to arrive and the fans have already started reaching the venue in what is anticipated to be a mouth watering affair.
