The Catalan giants concede that in 2013-2014, Qatar Airways is to be printed on the Blaugrana’s jerseys, as per their agreement with the Qatar Sports Investments.
F.C Barcelona have officially stated that their currently standing five-year deal with the Qatar Sports Investments will ask them to replace Qatar Foundation with Qatar Airways at the start of the 2013-2014 season.
The Blaugrana’s are tied to a five-year contract with the QSI, as it became the first brand to grace the Catalan’s famous shirt.
The Barcelona President, Sandro Rosell, termed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Qatar-c2986 Airways as an ambitious brand and stated that they share the same global aspirations of achieving supremacy in their field, as of F.C Barcelona. He also indicated that Barcelona identified these objectives
and hence forth decided to work with them in collaboration.
The Qatar CEO was delighted at this alliance and termed Barcelona as the greatest football club in the World. His statements reflected his pride at working alongside the Catalan giants.
It is widely reported that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604’s lucrative shirt sponsor deal with Qatar Foundation was by far the most expensive deal of that regard in Europe and it was valued at a massive 30 million Euros per season.
Barcelona are currently on a revenue generating drive to further float its expenses.
July of 2012 saw the Catalan based outfit muster huge profits of 48.8 million Euros where as the previous two seasons mounted losses of 9.3 million Euros and 83 million Euros.
Besides doing great in the marketing sense, F.C Barcelona are proving their worth in the football community this season as well. It is no surprise as the best football playing side in the history finds themselves 8 points clear of fellow title contenders
Real Madrid with 12 games played.
The Catalan outfit is also proving its mettle in the European matches as they look to seal qualification to the knock-out round of the UEFA Champions League.
Should the Catalan’s go on to claim a famous flurry of trophies this season as well, as the previous years have suggested, it will be great news to the marketing directors of QSI, as the Catalan’s fan base ensures a rise in the business of the Qatar based
sporting investors.
