Barcelona’s Wish List for January Transfers – Part 3
Javier Pastore (Palermo):
Javier Pastore is a twenty one year old Argentinean who currently plays for Palermo. He plays the attacking midfielder position and started his youth career with Tallers, making it into their first team squad in 2007.
After another two years with the club and after giving in five appearances without any goals scored, he made a loan spell with Huracan from 2008-09 and gave them thirty one appearances with eight goals scored.
Then, he finally made it to Palermo in 2009 and since then has made forty eight appearances with ten goals scored for the club’s glory.
He has also been a part of the Argentinean national team since 2009 and has made nine appearances for the country without scoring a goal.
He is predicted to make a move to Camp Nou with a transfer price of around forty million Euros. He has had an amazing year in football from the start of 2010. He is a talented playmaker with amazing creativity and technical abilities.
It has only been eighteen months since this player made a move to the Italian league club Palermo. He came in as an inexperienced youngster but quickly matured to a key player in the squad.
He is thought to be one of the hottest things to buy on the transfer market as he is in that critical stage of his career when with the right directions and coordination, he can be made into the image of the club that buys him.
He has scored twelve goals this season and is considered to be one of Serie A’s top goal scorers. He also has a build of a typical Argentinean as he is a tough player who is six feet and two inches tall. He has the ability to dominate players physically
on the football field.
The attribute that makes him a crucial buy is that he has all the qualities to become a top level player and just needs some instructions and coaching to achieve that.
Though there is little chance that he will make a move in January but there is a lot of talk of him moving in the summer transfer window. He has already been linked to the likes of Barcelona FC.
Right now, it seems like a sure thing that Barcelona will sign this Argentinean youngster if not in January then definitely in the summer and he is predicted to bring in a lot of cash flow for Palmero.
He scored his first hat-trick in the Palmero’s derby against Catania and has become one of the most loved players in the club and the Argentinean national team.
Barcelona are actually counting on Lionel Messi to aid them in the move as both of them are team mates from the national team and have made a close relationship amongst themselves.
This midfielder will be a key addition to any club that he goes to and this is why clubs like AC Milan and Real Madrid have already confessed their interest in the player.
