The chairman of Palermo has said that he will not let go of the player for any price that is less that seventy million Euros. Still, Maurizio Zamparini is in talks with various clubs and even a swap deal may occur.
The extraordinarily high price tag on the player indicates that he will not be making a move any time soon as Barcelona are leaving their funds intact for Cesc Fabregas in the summer from Arsenal.
Fernando Llorente (Athletic Bilbao):
Fernando Llorente is a twenty five year old Spaniard who plays for Athletic Bilbao and currently has a buyout clause at thirty six million Euros.
This Spaniard was already a talented youngster when he came to La Liga and has grown and improved tremendously in the Spanish team. He has been playing major roles in both the country and club teams and has caught the eye of fans and clubs all around Europe.
He is six feet and five inches tall and has amazing technical abilities. He excels the most at scoring goals from eight in front of the goal keeper.
Llorente has a prolific playing style now but this was not the case when he first came into the Spanish league. He has reached the top level of play in a short time, becoming a deadly force on the football field playing as a striker.
He is one of those players in a team from which the fans expect a goal every now and then. He has scored nine league goals this season and this has made him the third top scorer in La Liga this season as he is only third to Messi and Ronaldo in the rankings.
He is a rare player to find in the Spanish league as he is a striker that has amazing aerial abilities and most defenders are powerless against him. He is a gifted dribbler and is known to play tricks on the opposing teams and leave them helpless on the
field.
He has learned how to use his talents to the maximum potential and almost every fan that follows him knows exactly what he can do as he never leaves room for error nor is he afraid to showcase his abilities in the game.
