He could not understand some of the decisions made by the referee against Barcelona.
"I was surprised at Cesc Fabregas' caution over celebrating a goal. You [journalists] have better images to judge his performance though,” he said to the reporters.
Vilanova also talked about how the penalty conceded by his team slowed them down and broke their momentum.
"The penalty broke our rhythm. Before that, I had never seen our team play so well in the first 20 minutes.
He also commented on the performance of his long-serving goalkeeper, Victor Valdes, and reiterated his confidence in him.
"Valdes has been giving us so much over so many years that we cannot doubt him at this point."
Barcelona have maintained their eight points lead over bitter rivals, Real Madrid.
