Barclay's Premier League Fixtures - Matches Off

All three games on Sunday’s Barclays Premier League have been postponed due to this weekend’s bad weather with today’s major fixture between Manchester United and Chelsea also postponed.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 Vs Manchester United was the first of the day’s matches to be called off and later the Black Country derby between West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wnderers and also the match between Blackpool and Tottenham Hospur
were postponed.  
This was not all, there also had been quite some drama regarding Saturday’s games with four matches that day postponed due to the poor weather. The first match to be called off involved the teams Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa.
Also the fixtures http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 Vs Fulham, Birmingham City Vs Newcastle United and Arsenal Vs Stoke City, all have been delayed on safety grounds.
Chelsea’s website states: “"Sunday's game at Stamford Bridge has been postponed following consultation with the Police and the local authority.”
The customers requiring a ticket refund shall be entertained by the box office as they claimed that they will do the cancellation. But this number shall certainly be quite a few, for the fans of the league shall certainly be looking
forward to the new dates being announced and these same tickets shall be valid for the reschedule.
Albion was forced to postpone today’s Black Country derby with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 due to adverse weather conditions as even after employing everything at hand, they still had to postpone on grounds of safety. All decisions have been ratified
by the Premier League.
Secretary Matt Williams said, "We have been in regular communication with the local authority, the police, Tottenham and the Premier League throughout the last 48 hours and following the heavy snowfall on Friday night and forecast
of further sub zero temperatures we met on Saturday lunchtime to discuss the fixture and possible problems."
 
Wigan issued a statement describing the surrounding conditions as “extremely hazardous” following the postponement of their match the previous night.
