Barclays Premier League Latest: Manchester United suffer Park injury blow
Manchester United have dealt a major blow as Ji Sung Park has pulled up his hamstring and will be out for up to one month. Park returned last week from International duty in the Asian Games for South Korea and also announced his retirement from International
football. After given rest for five days, he started training few days back.
"We got a blow on Saturday morning with the news that Ji-sung Park did his hamstring on Friday afternoon in training," said United's manager, Alex Ferguson. "It was very unfortunate because it was his last kick of the ball in training as well. We were really
looking forward to having him back after being away for a month at the Asian Cup. He’ll be out for up to a month, which is a blow to us."
Park has been a key player in the midfield for United. The Korean’s main attributes include his versatility along with the bundles of energy he displays in his games.

Park has made 19 appearances in all competitions so far this season and has scored six goals, including the winner
against Arsenal at Old Trafford in December, 2010.
Park has established himself as a big match player for Manchester United, and has scored some important goals for Red Devils in the past. He was named man of the match in the UEFA Champions League semi-final 2nd leg against Barcelona in 2007-08.

October 2005. His performances have been overshadowed by the injury problems that he has faced over his playing career. He has never played on a consistent basis because of the injury, but whenever he has played for United, he has been phenomenal.
