Barclays Premier League- STOKE CITY Important News 
Tony Pulis does not see any of the teams in the relegation zone as being in serious threat yet.
Tony Pulis said: "If you look at the table I think it is a lot closer this year than it has ever been - certainly in my time in the Premier League. Two wins for the bottom three clubs could almost put them in the top half of the table, so I don't think
anybody is adrift or away from it. It has made it tougher this year for the clubs that are below the top six or seven.”
Every team is fighting to stay in the league and the three promoted clubs of League have performed well so far in this season which brought everything closer together. Tony Pulis further added that it is going to be a tough old season.
Moreover, the Potters' boss has learned to remain calm about his team's fortunes. Stoke City are currently placed ninth at the form table of Barclays Premier League and Stoke City Tony is refusing to over-react to either sequence.
Tony said: "For me coming into the Premier League, I was very new and I had never worked at this level before. But I think I'm quite a quick learner and I understand what goes on and what doesn't go on. You have to be resilient at times, and you have
to be very level-headed. "
Stoke City first team coach, Mark O'Connor, believes the club's squad is strong enough to cope with the rigours of the Barclays Premier League. He said that Stoke City have improved the quality of the squad. Mark O’Connor added that Stoke City has got some
very good players who add quality to the squad.
Recently, Stoke City has permanently signed Jermaine Pennant from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jermaine-Pennant-c18364 joined Stoke City on a loan deal during the summer and was bound to stay with the Potters till January. However, Pennant’s good form in this half of the season,

Moreover, Stoke City’s trip to Emirates Stadium to play against Arsenal was called off due to severe weather conditions.
