  1. It all hinges on the economy, when that recovers so will the banks fortunes. It will happen but will it be in the next 6 - 12 months ? Unlikely !

  2. I would imagine a lot of shares will be going downhill for a long time...................

  3. Nobody knows is the answer but barclays have some foreign investment. They still make large profits and they have attracted potencial buy outs. 6 to 12 months is to short time you will need 3 to 10 years to make large profits.

  4. It will recover some day, but for the time being it will keep falling.

  5. You will be able to make a better assessment on thursday.this is the day B make the announcement as to whether the rights issue was a sucess. If it is then the floor will have been reached.l would say 12 months on £4.50 and 12 months from that maybe £6 but there will be lots of opportunities for selling and buying back at lower price.6 months about £3.20

  6. No its all downhill for a few years now

  7. It's a great time to buy banking shares if you can hold on to them for the mid-long term more than 3 years.

If your looking to make a quick profit on them - forget it.
