  1. You can only use a cash card to withdraw cash out of an ATM, a Visa electron can be used in most high street stores and online to pay for things.

Visa electron is better as it gives you more flexability, and eventually that will be upgraded to a visa debit if you keep your account in order!

  2. The cash card is simply that. A card which will let you withdraw cash.

With a Visa Electron, you'll be able to use it in shops and pay for things online. This is still not a credit card. You can only spend what's in your account.

For ease, I'd have the Visa Electron.

  3. yes the Visa Electron is better by far .
