Bare Minerals?? Help me, girls!?

hey i need some help. i use MAC studio fix make up but i really wanna find something new because in the middle of the day, since my skin is oily, my face is really shiny and oily and my make up is darker. i've heard so many people talk about how Bare Minerals is the best thing out there but i don't know how it will be with my oily skin. any recommendations???

As a professional makeup artist, I use and reccommend KmS Mineral Essentials Cosmetics,  It is a pure mineral makeup that contains a mineral called kaolin clay that is an amazing oil absorber.  This ingredient does a better job at oil absorption when compared to Bare Minerals.  It also has longer wearability and is more cost effective.

I sieriously think bare minerals sucks.  Then again I have dry skin and not oily skin, but I think it looks rediculously fake.  I personaly like to use Revlon ColorStay.  It really does stay well, it covers well, and has an spf of either 6 or 8.

although bare minerals is good for a light coverage and its good for your skin i would recommend a brand named pur minerals it has a much stronger coverage it dose great with oily skin and lasts all day you can even sleep in it its also good for your skin the kit is $35 dollars

well bare minerals is a good product so I say to give it a shot and plus if your skin starts to get to oily then take a tissue a just blot just a little and it really works and it doesn't remove your makeup.

bare minerals really is the best foundation! it is the only one that i use. the blush is also really pretty. i would suggest getting the starter kit which has blush, all over face color, and 2 foundations. it is $60 but is worth the price. it makes your face look natural and the your face will not look shiny anymore. i hope that you consider getting it because it is really good for your face!

I have always had combination skin (oily in some places, dry in other places).  I use a good moisturizer after I wash my face.  Give it a few minutes to set in then apply the powdered bare mineral makeup.  I love it.  I have ruddy places in my complexion that it blends away very nicely.  I have even used a bit of the mineral blush as contrast eyeshadow sometimes.  It doesn't shine and stays put.  Good luck.

i use everyday minerals, it's like Bare Minerals, but without the fillers.  It looks beautiful on too, plus you can get a sample kit for only the cost of $3.09 shipping on their website.  www.everydayminerals.com then click on custom kits and then on free sample kit.  you get 5 items!  I just got mine and I love it.  

you can pick between 4 different coverages.  For oily skin use the coverage that is "Intensive" or the next step down is "Matte"  you get to try 3 differnt foundations, so try intensive and matte and see which one you like the best before you order a full size foundation (around $8.00).  I will never buy Bare Minerals again now that I have tried this.  It's just as good as Bare M, but cheaper and I have oily skin too, so I need the Matte finish which BM does not offer.  Good luck!

The 60$ package is really the best deal on it.

If you've been using other make-up like Clinique, your skin will feel very heavy and sticky at first.

I just know this because my mom wont stop talking about how much she loves it.

Bare Minerals is FLAT OUT the best for oily skin. No questions about it, hands down. You can't even SWEAT through this stuff! And it's so light and feathery... you don't feel like there is anything at all on your skin! Plus, i love that you can customize it to your skin shade, and especially with it being summer, your face gets tan, but your powder still matches perfectly! It seriously really really is the best, and SO worth the money.

there are these things i forget the brand i think clean and clear and you dab them on your face and it sucks up the moisture. my mom uses bare minerals and so have i but idont think it is that great. it doesnt cover blemishes or anything i gues it would be fine with oil. you might want to try a cheaper version of the bare minerals like the covergirl brand or something until you know it works
