Bare minerals makeup?

is it good for acne or does it make acne worse?

i haven't used it, but have heard it covers up acne, but does not heal it.

It's definitely good for acne, I've been using it for 3 years. I'm switching to everyday minerals though because it comes in semi-matte not just glowy. It has the same ingredients minus bismuth oxychloride and about 1/2 the price. You can get a free 5 piece sample kit from everydayminerals.com for the price of shipping, mine was only $3.

It has bismuth oxychloride in it which is a large particle mineral that makes it "glowy". And it makes people itch! Like me!

Plus you have to "buff buff buff" thats because of the large particles. You have to buff them into your pores. I've heard from people on makeup forums say they didn't break out at first, but ended up with cystic acne really bad a year later!

So....you need one that is BISMUTH FREE!

I use the Hollywood formula of LA Minerals..which has no bismuth, and my face is clearer now than it ever has been! I've used it for about 8 months now and love it!

They have samples for like $1 on their website and ship them free, so you can get your right shade and see how you like it before buying the full size stuff. Get their veil and concealer too (i use the bisque concealer)

You put the concealer on first, then  the foundation, then the veil last.

Ohhh their Lit Up shade of bronzer is really pretty too...get some of that! LOL ( i think i have a little of everything!)
