Barefoot Henry looks favourite for College Causeway Semi-Final – Greyhound Racing Preview
Barefoot Henry is leading the betting market for the high-stakes Open Race of College Causeway At Stud Open 525 Semi-Final which is scheduled to be held at Shelbourne Park track on Saturday night, March 17.
The mega marathon of 525y Flat distance will begin at 20:32 (GMT). The event is offering €100 of prize money.
The P. Hennessy-trained black dog is geared up to show his guts against his five potential competitors including Glown Bound, Shes So Tasty, Blackhall Dee, Nushkas Posty and Must Be Brett.
Since starting his career with a 6 ½-length clean victory on September 15, 2011, the maverick hound has been performing marvellously and consistently.
The three-year-old novice runner bagged his second and last triumph in the month of October. Since the beginning of the calendar year, he has run for two times but not won unfortunately.
However, the brilliant runner’s stamina and spirit is intact. He is filled with form at the moment and his capabilities are well-tested.
If the son of Droopys Scolari out of Woodhill Spark runs to his best and capitalises well on his momentum, he has as high as 90 percent chances to finish first in tonight’s race.
However, some of his competitors like Glown Bound and Shes So Tasty have potential to impede the hot favourite dog’s way towards victory.
Glown Bound has been winning with regular intervals since making his debut in March 2011. Carr’s white and black dog won a couple of consecutive races during the month of June.
The son of Head Bound out of Floras Fantasy extended his winning momentum to the year 2012 as well, bagging a decent victory on February 16. So, he is greatly confident to perform nicely tonight.
On the other hand, Shes So Tasty finished first each in two races in January and February 2012. The trainee of Aedo finished fifth in her last outing on March 1. The black b***h will be able to show a stunning run in the coming contest.
By and large, the Semi-Final race is anticipated to be packed with thrill and sensation. Each of the above three hounds will struggle hard for success.
Let us see how Barefoot Henry dominates his rivals and makes his way towards triumph. Good luck to the dog.
