Barefoot in a daydream?

I keep having this daydream when I walk down the street of me and this guy (I know who it is) but were always both barefoot it's really weird? Any ideas?

Feet usually represent our standing in life.  Maybe you are feeling grounded (sturdy) since your feet are directly touching the ground with no interference of shoes and shocks.

The other explanation is that your standing is without merit.
