  1. Suposivly Norwegian (sp?) Cruise Line has the best Hawaiian cruises. They (unlike most cruiselines) have the newest and best ships traveling there.

  2. If you mean a cruise around the Hawaiian Islands leaving from and returning to Honolulu there is only one major cruise line that does Hawaii cruises and that is Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL).    They have 4 sails in February 2009 all leaving from Oahu doing pretty much the same itinerary:  http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/cruisesearch/c...

From what I can see on their web site the prices are about the same regardless of what date you select in February or any month.  That's what a monopoly will do for you.

If you are interested in cruising to Hawaii from the US mainland then you have other options.  While NCL is the only major line that starts and ends its cruises in Hawaii, other lines like Princess, Royal Caribbean and Holland America have cruises to Hawaii and back from the West Coast of the US. Those cruises are generally 14 or 15 days or more because you spend 3 or 4 days on the ocean getting there. The cruises leave from West coast ports like San Francisco, San Diego and/or Ensenada, Mexico. Then there are some cruises that have Hawaii as a port stop as a part of a longer itinerary such as to or from Australia or the South Pacific.

I think you are more likely to get a bargain on one of the other cruise lines.

  3. AAA has great rates. The earlier you book the better.

  4. Go to vacation to go web site. They have great bargins on all cruises and are very trust worthy. I myself want to do the same cruise, but round trip from LA because I live in California. Even though I have been to Hawaii many times, I'd like to do the cruise too.
