2 Lovebirds. They are quite cute when they are together.  Or a conure, especially sun conures.

Love birds rock! We rescued 2 and they had babies 1/3 lived but they are characters!

there is a big difference in the cost, care and handling of these two species.  I would suggest lovebirds if you are new to birding.  Check the rules in your area - some places may require permit to own raptors

most people don't realize this, but owls are incredibly nasty.
