Barnes & Nobles Breaking Dawn midnight Release Party

hi everyone!

ok well, I am very excited for the fourth and final book of the Twilight saga that comes out tomorrow, which has brought me to going for the first time ever to a midnight release party. But I am a little concerned I may not like being there.

What are the Barnes & Nobles midnight release parties like? What kinda of things do they do to celebrate? Is there just people standing around waiting? Or are there activities and food? I'm just cruious and wnat to know what to expect when I go over there tomorrow night.

It may be like Halloween--there may be a possibility there will be people in costume. However, since this series takes place in not only modern times; but the characters dress modernly as well (well, the majority at least). There are activities to do most of the time. I went to Harry Potter parties, and there were movie showings, food booths of book-themed goodies, and other fun events. Around 11-11:30ish PM at the latest I advise you to line up will start lining up for their book; as these lines can get quite lengthy and boring is you postpone getting a spot in line. Then at midnight, the books are revealed and everyone cheers. WOO HOO!

The twilight party in my neighborhood in having a raffle for Bella's wedding cake, costume party, and an autographed copy of Myers's non Twilight related book "The Host". Since this isn't a harry potter party, and the Twilight movie is not out yet, there prolly won't be any screenings of anything; except for trailers...
