At stumps on the penultimate day of the ongoing four-day Group B http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kumar-Shri-Ranjitsinhji-c71870 Trophy match between Baroda and Tamil Nadu, the former have secured a lead of 94 runs with six wickets remaining in their second innings, at Moti Bagh Stadium, Vadodara.
Baroda need to play fast tomorrow and add 150 runs to make a match out this dead-rubber contest. However, it remains to be seen how Baroda will play on the final day, the ball is in their court now.

They then began their second innings in a bid to give a big performance, but the opening partnership yielded only 19 runs before SP Wakaskar perished after scoring only 12 runs.
The second-wicket partnership between AA Waghmode and ARPS Chauhan was impressive, as it took the score to 91 after which it was time for Waghmode (39) to find his way off the field when his wicket was taken by Kaushik.
Baroda, then lost two quick wickets before the end of the day’s play with 116 on the board.
