Barometer dropping and inducing labor?

Is it true that when the barometer drops it puts women into labor? I seriously hope so because the area I live in is expecting a storm on labor day. :)

  1. Yes it does. Once the barometric pressure drops in the atmosphere, there is a strong possibility that your bag of waters will break and labor will begin. I also live in South LA and 36 1/2 weeks along. I am evacuating far, far away! My husband has to work during the storm. I do not want to have the baby without him. If you are interested in evacuating, I suggest going towards the north. There will be a high pressure over Arkansas and Mississippi that will be steering the storm. I am hoping I'll be safe there and prolong my labor until things get back to normal!

I want to go on labor day its the hubby's day off and other days he is at school and work. yes he can get the time off but its just like this would work out lol. I have never heard that if the barometer drops that you go into labor. on monday I will be 36 weeks I have already started labor once but then was put on meds and now I am off them because the Doc says that she will let me go at anytime. anyways gl......
