Baron Davis and Co. making good use of the extended NBA Lockout
This NBA off season has been incredibly long.
It is that time of the year when the fans used to witness the NBA players on the court (the playing one). However, for the time being, the only court where the player could be seen is the judicial one.
For most of the NBA players, the time is ripe to look for overseas opportunities, but yet there are some who are utilizing this off time to so things, they have always craved to do.
Cleveland Cavaliers veteran point guard Baron Davis has taken the lead in this regards.
Davis has been busy fulfilling his fantasy of making a documentary on the decline of style and fashion in United States during the lockout.
The documentary which the 32 year star along with the ‘American Schlub’, is in pre-production and aims at the American male’s poor sartorial standards and desires to challenge men to change that perspective.
"We used to be fashion forward. We're more of a sweats and Ugg boots type of society. We wanted to challenge men, from that perspective." Davis commenting on his innovative project said.
Then there is the case of Kevin Love, the power forward, who has become the face of Minnesota Timberwolves. Kevin has been busy playing beach volleyball during the lockout and has been a part of many tournaments so far.
In the same vein, New York Knicks small forward Carmelo Anthony has turned his attention towards. The Four-time NBA All-Star recently showcased his acting skills in a couple of television shows including ‘Law & Order: SVU’ of NBC
and ‘Nurse Jackie’ which plays on Showtime.
Carmelo Anthony’s public relation agent confirmed his participations in the T.V. shows and he might want to look for another opportunity for his client as the lockout is expected to stay for some more time.
Chris Paul, who is regarded as one of the top point guards in the league, has also appeared in a syndicated game show ‘Family Feud’ with his family and the way things are going, we may see a lot of NBA players testing their skills
in things they have been fantasizing to do all along.
