Barrack Patsy expected to dominate 2012 Sporting Press Irish Oaks Round 1 Heat 3
Barrack Patsy is expected to dominate proceedings in the 2012 Sporting Press Irish Oaks Round 1 Heat 3 at Shelbourne Park in Ireland on Thursday, May 24, 2012. The winning greyhound will walk away with a cash prize of €100.
The Grade OR event is scheduled to start at 21:10 GMT and a total of six quality runners have been attracted towards it. Their names are as follows: Barrack Patsy, Abbeys Twinkle, Droopys Ida, Forestdale Shana, Newlawn Martina and Code Sion.
Looking at the performances of all runners, the bookies have given the best odds to Barrack Patsy, who seems to be in perfect rhythm at the moment. She is likely to attract the maximum number of bets, as her opponents are not in good form.
The Collins’ trainee has been doing a decent job over the past few races and is a regular at Shelbourne Park, which means she will be fully aware of the conditions and will make things extremely difficult for her rivals.
In her past three outings, Barrack Patsy managed to win once and secured the runner up place on a couple of times. This goes onto show the kind of form she is in at the moment.
The black b***h ended up winning her most recent race comfortably. She was given the best odds back then and managed to live up to the expectations of everyone. She attacked right from the start until the end of the 525 yard event, creating a gap of
three lengths over the runner up hound.
A similar run would ensure another victory for Barrack Patsy, who is the daughter of Droopys Scolari out of Tullig Woods and was born in April 2010.
Abbeys Twinkle is another runner, who seems to be in good shape at the moment. However, her performances in this class have not been good, which will discourage the punters from risking money on her.
The Toner’s trained b***h is carrying a very good moment though, as she finished first in her most recent Grade A1 outing. She just managed to prevail by a short head distance back then, but will need a much better effort this time around. She is the
daughter of Kryptonite out of Viewpoint Eagle and was born in August 2010.
