Barred text messaging

Not had this problem before. Got Sony Ericsson W300i and I can recieve SMS's but when I try to send one I get this 'Barred' message. I have not changed any settings at all yet the problem has suddenly occured. Could someone please assist me as I am away from home and urgently need to be able to use my phone to text with
