Question:

Barriers/problems of global warming that need to change?

Im doing a project and have 2 barriers/problems already i need 4! I have been searching the internet and books and can;t find anything except the 2 barriers/problems i already have.. And please dont say that there are none its all the sun, I understand taht point of view i just acutally need barriers. THANKS greatly appreciated =)

  1. Most of the worlds energy sources come from fossil fuels, which increase the global warming.

    People are afraid of change. So any discussion about needing to change energy sources, causes them to fear that they'll lose their standard of living or freedoms.  So they automatically oppose responding.

    Global warming is a slow long term problem.  Since people (other than scientists with the appropriate training and equipment) can't observe trends that require decades to occur, then tend to doubt it's serious.

    Many poorer nations are unwilling to cut back in greenhouse gas emissions, because they feel that the rich countries caused the problem so they should pay to fix it.

    Building new energy facilities requires much money and takes time. We are currently in an economic downturn, so it's hard to think about the long-term advantages of building new clean energy facilities.
