i SAY h**l NO, his bat would help the Yankees with all those Injuries especially to Matsui and Posada, but nope he just has to much things not good for the Yankees and if he comes to NY With my Yankees, it will bring more media and the Yankees get enough of that , and it willbe a bad distraction for a team who is on Fire at the Moment.

  1. No

  2. NO

I can't even begin to understand the mentality behind this one.

  3. to answer your question h**l no, they dont need him, yet again they didnt need richie sexson who hasnt hit above 200 in like years either, and please GIVE ME A BREAK, on this whole media distracts them from playing good ball bullsh*t, The yankees are freakin media junkies, hence arod and madonna...they love it so the more media they get will just boost their ego, thats one of the reasons why i strongly dislike them,  they always someway somehow have to be the spotlight of baseball, and it absolutley sickens me

  4. Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with h**l NO.  Bonds did 'roids, and everybody hates him, except for the Giants, since he's their only good player.  Besides, hasn't anyone ever heard of a guy named A-Rod?

  5. No, no, no, no, no.

He brings a media circus, he's not good with teammates, managers, media, or fans, he would demand more money than he's worth, and he's an aging player that would take too long to turn it on and perform.

  6. What up YFFL,

i say NO!!! The Yankees have always been a classy organization and Barry is just a jerk- and can you imagine him with the NY media-- unnecessary drama.

    Nickster

  7. I just don't see how this move will benefit the yankees. They are one of the hottest teams in baseball right now. Why would you risk your chemistry? No body wants a guy like Bonds in the clubhouse, and he is not a definite 300 hitter when he gets back. I say NO!

  8. I agree with you 100% he would help with the offense but would more create a **** load of media

  9. Well, I'm a sox fan and I'm wicked physced that they passed on him. I mean, have some dignity- the guy is the 'Roid KING.

  10. h**l YES HE CAN RUIN THAT DAMNED TEAM

  11. the yankees are stupid if they sign him, where has bonds been playing or practicing baseball?

the skankees miss the playoffs, go sox!!!

  12. h**l NO, the yankees have better hitters than him,(Jose Molina is doing better than he was at the end of last year, and we dont need that horrible media bug on our team were fine without him

  13. GOD NO!!!!!!!!

this can only be a waste of good money for the yankees...a media circus like no other will descend upon new york if bonds ends up in pinstripes, and considering the long layoff he's had i doubt he will be truly in a position to contribute immediately to this offense

  14. h**l yes

  15. that would be an absolute complete and total disaster.

  16. He doesn't deserve to be playing in the MLB anymore, he is a lying pos.

  17. Baseball does not need the likes of Barry Bonds.  I wish he would just go away.  He has embarrassed himself and the face of baseball for too long.

The Yankees have dealt with enough baggage from Clemens and Pettitte.  They don't need anymore.  The last thing any team needs on their roster is a proven cheater.

  18. Even if Posada and Matsui are both out for the year, the Yankees still won't stoop to that. Bonds is a disgrace. He would cost the Yanks fan support and a ton of cash. Look at the deals they've been making lately, they got Ponson and Sexton for next to nothing. Sexton is making 14 million dollars this year. Of that the Yankees are paying less than $200 thousand (pro-rated league minimum). They aren't in the market for an expensive player until they clear Giambi and Pavano from their payroll.

They'll platoon 2 situations: Giambi at first, Damon at DH, and the hotter hitter between Christian and Gardner at Left. When there's a lefty pitching, they'll have Sexton at first, Giambi or Damon at DH, and Christian, Gardner, or Damon at left.

If they find a deal worth making, they'll improve, but Bonds is not that deal.
