Barry Hall, how many weeks should he get?

I feel for thuggery like this he should get the rest of the year off, and should his suspension come into effect after his wrist is better?

I think least 5 weeks because he is a footballer and sydney payed him to play footy, not to box someone.

He should'nt get the rest of the sesion off, but he should learn to controll his tempare.It was'nt all his falt,the west coast player kept on hanging on to him even when barry did'nt have the ball so barry hall gave him a hit across the face but oviously the westcoast player did'nt get the hint and barry hall does'nt take rubbish from anyone so he punched him. But that still was'nt the write decision to make when your a roll model for lots of kids in australia.

He is getting about 4 to 6 weeks off with his wrist. so that should be enough. Barry also said he will have any punishment from west coast that they give him.

The rest of the season, and as many weeks next season as his wrist takes to heal in 2008.Which should stop him malingering to put-off the time he starts suspension - another thing he'd be good at!

I think 7 or 8 weeks should be enough. You can not say when the suspension starts due to an injury. If/when found guilty then it starts from that point.

It was a disgraceful thing to do but maybe I'm the only one in australia who thinks that he wasn't actually trying to connect. I think he was trying to scare off the eagles guy. But at the end of the day, he broke someone's jaw and he should get at least 8 weeks after his wrist has healed.

l truly think he is looking at around 9 weeks...and deservedly so.

you just cannot do this today and turn around all Innocent and virtually ask the umpire....Why !!
