Do you think the Swans should have taken this step?

Do you think they have overreacted regarding the incident against Shane Wakelin?

  1. i agree, they've done the right thing, he is becoming uncontrollable and needs 2 b stopped b4 anythin worse happens, hopefully he can get back 2 playing gd footy

  2. Yahoo sports said that Barry is going thru some problems off field ( ie home life) and this is producing his anger outburst

If he is not right mentally, then the club has certainly done the right thing. It will give Barry time to have a break, seek help, and make a few personnal decisions about his future

Good luck to him i say - The AFL needs a few "big bad" blokes like Barry

  3. Barry Hall has problems. Huge yawn. The rest of us have problems and get on with our lives. Look at Jane and Glenn McGrath's life, for instance! Hall is being paid a motza to play football, and three weeks back in and he's belting opponents!

Shane Wakelin wasn't acting, he copped a beauty that knocked him sidewards, and he is one of the old time hard men.

The game doesn't need a punch drunk ape whose answer to any question is going the biff.

  4. Wakelin took a dive like the soccer playing sook he is.... Barry needs to get his game back together and play at a higher level but don't supend him for putting some passion into the game. Go Swannies, Go Big Bad Barry....
