Manchester City’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Barry-c14423 admits that his side can’t make any more mistakes, following their draw with Stoke City.
City are currently on top of the Premier League table, but they are more than likely to fall back to the second spot, should Manchester United go on and win their upcoming game.
Over the course of the last few weeks, everyone had expected both the teams from Manchester to drop points, but with City being the first team to go on and suffer a massive speed bump on their way to claim the Premier League crown, they can’t afford to do
so, once again.
Barry, when talking about his team and just how they can’t afford any more mistakes in the future, is quoted to have said: "We are disappointed because we wanted to win the game but we have got to look at the big picture now and concentrate on the next eight
games”
"We were a bit deflated in the dressing room but we have gone a goal down here, which is a really tough place to come, and come back to get a point which keeps us in touching distance.”
"It is important now we keep it to no more than the three points for when we do play Manchester United."
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international also went on to admit that City couldn’t be looking towards other teams to go on and help them win the league, since it was up to them to win all their games and claim the Premier League crown based on their hard work.
"We can't be relying on other teams - we have got to try to win all our games from now until the end of the season," he added.
"That is our target. It is going to be really tough but while it is in our hands it is still possible. We are confident we can do that."
"We have got eight games now, we must try to win them all."
