He's a legend of baseball that used steroids legally through a doctor's prescription and surgery treatment after injuries.  He also "used" recreationally, but did not abuse those drugs.  His stats before the so-called steroid era showed that he definitely did not cheat and although he "used", it did not have any significance with his quest to be baseball's HR leader for career and season.

Also, the drugs in question will not help anyone hit or pitch a ball because it makes you crazy, will weaken your bone and muscle structure, tightens up your muscles too much and will ruin your eyesight.  If steroids really help you enhance your performance, why are there only about 5-6 baseball players that constantly performed out of 100's when claims of drug use came out?  If it was a miracle drug, then everyone that took steroids would have hit 45+ HR's or would constantly pitch fastballs in excess of 100 MPH every time.

All the haters, jealous people, fake fans and bandwagoners should just pick on someone that really cheated, disgraced their sport or committed a crime.....
