Manchester City’s midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Barry-c14423 doesn’t think that the team is operating at a maximum and feels that the team has a lot of room for improvement for the time being.
Last season, City went on to come out with all guns blazing right away, but this time around things have not gone according to the team’s plans.
The team is playing harder than they did last time around, but something just doesn’t seem to be clicking for the team.
Barry seems to agree with this fact and feels that something needs to be done to remedy the situation at hand.
"The start of the season is completely different to what we experienced last year – not getting out of the blocks and not getting going,” said the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international.
"But I think this season is what being champions is all about. You're going to find it tougher and the games will be harder.”
"People want to beat you that little bit more and this is what we're finding out."
The City players were booed by their fans in the game against Swansea, as they felt the team wasn’t operating at its full potential. The fans are demanding that the team goes on and really pushes their limits, or it might be a little too late for them to
win anything.
When talking about the fans, Barry admitted that he understood where they were coming from, but also insisted that they needed to give the team some time, and that they would be back at their best sooner rather than later.
"The fans can sometimes feel that way because we've lost in midweek and hope that we bounce back, but you've got to give credit to the opposition,” he added.

"It was difficult in midweek with the result against Ajax, but we've bounced back and got three massive points.”
"We're high up the table and have a free week now so hopefully we can get some people back from injuries."
