there was never any sensible evidence to say he did it. how  anyone could say  yes hes guilty is beyond comprehension. there will never be a conviction in this case. the murderer has got away with it but barry   george should never have been convicted. anyone on that jury should hang their heads in shame. his conviction was a travesty of justice which is all too common and its shameful

I don't know a lot of people who have gunpowder traces in their pockets that they can't explain.

Nobody appears to be calling the police and forensic scientists liars, so I think he probably did it.

Who do I "think" killed her I have to say Barry George. and I would guess that the police soon make a statement to say that they are not looking for anyone else. His 8 years was not half enough for doing this.

Not sure. I wasn't convinced it was him and thought who ever it was had carefully planned it in a organised and professional way. It could have been a boyfriend/friend and as we have found time and time again people commit these vile crimes and seem to get away with it.

her murder came just after an air-strike killed her counterpart on a Serbian TV station in the Balkans...  It was said at the time her murder was a revenge attack!  Much was made of the swarthy East-European man who was in the area, and the blue Range Rover with tinted glass that took off immediately after the killing and nearly hit a bus by one of the bridges over the Thames...

    Descriptions of suspicious characters in the area listed a man variously described as white, fair, dark, East-European, Asian, Afro-American, and Oriental!  He was, by various reports, tall, short, fat, thin and medium.

     Barry George is likely to have been in that street, but about four hours prior to her killing.

     There is no record of Barry George ever having obtained a REAL firearm, from any source.  (It was a pistol made in Eastern Europe) He was not tested at the time for firearms' residue on his hands or clothing.  He used to carry his blank-firing gun in the pocket of that coat, he had worn that coat for about twelve years!

    He WAS the local oddball, and though I think such people should be monitored, there is no evidence he committed this crime.
