Bartenders! Where do/did you make the most money?

resteraunts/bars/country clubs/cruise ships??? I need lots of cash to get back on my feet after a breakup that left me busted!

Cruise ships are for third world countries. They do not make anything near what you would be used to.

Of course you could see the world.

I worked at both a bar and a club. I did very well at both but be careful before choosing. I would sugegst going to the place that you plan applying at and posing as a customer, see how much others tip the bartender and pay attention to how busy it is, not just people sitting there for hours, the flow of traffic. Most likely you will see that at a club there is a high level of traffic and you will be making one drink after another non stop! Thats how it was for me, but also the bar that I worked at was huge, classy and less work and I made almost as much money because the rich people tip more. I hope  i helped :)

Strip clubs and g*y bars tip the best from what my bartender friends say. Also private parties like mixing drinks for Frat parties. I know one bartendar that got $200 for the day plus tips.  In restaurants you are always splitting tips with the waitstaff.
