Bartending schools in nyc?

anyone know of any good bartender schools in nyc

here is my story

bar tending schools are a rip off. find a job somewhere like a restaurant. you may have to work your way up from waiter or bar back. let the manager know you really want to be a bartender, when a spot comes up you can get a shot at it. once you get some experience then go for a job at a club or a bar ( it never hurts to use your connections either). I would venture to guess that 95% of all bartenders never went to one of those schools. I only knew one guy that ever did and he started out as a bouncer at a club that we worked at.

I just finished a session with the Columbia Bartending Agency (it's open to everyone). It was cheap ($195), quick, and I learned a great deal. They have another session coming up soon.
