I'm ordering contacts online because i just came from the doctor with my prescription. I want to switch to another brand of contacts other than the one my doctor prescribed for me other than 02 optix. However, when i go online the acuvue base curve is 8.3 & 8.6. And the 02 optix only has an option of only 8.6.I didn't get the number of my base curve in my prescription.I really don't feel like making another doc appt and waiting for it. Because my contacts expire in a week. So what do i do?

  1. you have to be careful.. the place you are ordering contacts from has to verify your RX with your doctor<--- this is by law. So you acutally have to get what the doctor required you too get. If you RX expries soon, call the doctor tell them you will be ordering contacts else where and you would like to change the contacts...

o2 come in two diffrent base curves...  you need to get the correct ones so they will fit correctly.
