  1. I would recommend pyutting them in a binder instead.  I dont think you want to entered them all onto a computer.  With the binder you can catergorize them by years and etc.

  2. I'm almost certain that you can create a "my collection" directory at  beckett.com.  I don't think that it is a free service, however.  You have to pay a monthy membership fee.

The beckett data base has every card from every set.  Say you type in "1995 Beckett's Best".  It will pop up every card in the base set, all the inserts, all the autos, everything.  Then all you have to do is click on each card thay you own.

I had it for awhile back in '01 or '02.  But I stopped collecting.  I'm almost positive that it was at beckett.

  3. I would think you could create yourself something in Excel very easily.  Just set up a number of header boxes, such as Year, Name, Condition, etc.  Then type in the data.  You'll be able to sort and slice and dice the data in any way you want from there.  You really dont need any special software for something this straightforward.  As an alternative, if you dont have Excel, download Open Office, where you can get their Spreadsheet program for free.

  4. There used to be this great software in the 90s that was created just for this, but I think they stopped because of the influx of sets.

The one person has a good idea, an excel spreadsheet would work okay. I've used one to keep track of autographed cards.
