Baseball Fans, is your team still in it?

Unless you are an LA Angels fan, you can't feel completely comfortable with your team's post season certainty. My condolences to any team with a record below .500 at this point in the season, your season is over. That leaves 6 teams in the AL, minus LAA who I'm giving a lock to at this point, and 9 teams in the NL, to battle it out for coveted playoff position.

So who is your team and how do you like your chances? Some of you will need miracles, so tell me how you will pull it off. If your team is out of it, tell me who you're rooting for or against, and tell me who your picks are for both leagues. Cub's and Ray's fans, your guys are looking good. Yank's, Jay's, and Astro's fans, I think you're wishing you were in another Division right now, how will you're miracles happen? Everyone else tell me what your team will do.

  1. phils all day long

  2. I guess so.

The Brewers will likely win the Wild Card, so I'm not really too worried about the Cardinals catching up.

  3. My reds are long out of it, but I am keeping track of others because I love baseball.

  4. Yes. GO Dodgers!

  5. Lets go yankees

  6. yes, the nationals are still in it, 82 games deep in the basement

  7. I'm a Royals fan - they haven't been in it for 20 years.

  8. im way out of it

can u guess who my team is

    (hint: im from washington)

  9. Rangers for me.

no hope left for this year. everything rides on them getting better developement out of the pitchers they have now or making a splash in the market this winter, but they should be in the hunt next september

  10. My Tigers are out of it.

I am going to keep saying it till someone listens:

    SHEFFIELD MUST GO!!!

  11. Red Sox- I think that they will eventually edge the Rays in the east by like 2 games and the Rays will beat the Twins in the wild card by about 3 games.

  12. Yankees fan. And I'm not saying it's over until the wild card is a mathematical impossibility. Making up seven games in five weeks is a tough task, but as long as there's a chance, you have to play like you can still get it.

That said, how great would it be if the Yankees were in the NL West right now.

  13. J-J-J-JAYSSSSSSSS!!

sorry temp.. Yanks finish 4th this year in the east

  14. Pirates...Do I need to explain?

  15. Yes you can if you're a Cubs fan.

  16. I am a little uncofomfortable with the Jays position. The red sox and the Yankees don't scare me. I believe that jays could probably pass them maybe not so much the red sox but if we do pass them the Twins or White Sox will probably be in the way. At least i think the Jays will have a huge shot at next year. With Gaston coaching and hopefully Burnett can stay and pitch number 2 for us again.

  17. Yanks are still in it but unless they get their act together it may be over soon.

  18. I am a Cubs fan and feel pretty comfortable.

Leading the division, but 8.5 games ahead in the wild card with 26 to go.  Plus, the next 5 are at home against the Reds and Nationals.

I like the Cubs chances of making the post-season.
