  1. To bat better just work on soft toss or hitting off a tee.  Work on keeping your eye on the ball and getting your hands through the zone first.

Stand perpendicular to a fence with your right foot pushed flat against the fence. (This is if you're right handed...opposite foot if you're left handed.)  With your foot against the fence, try swinging without hitting the fence behind you.  That will teach you and get you used to bringing your hands through the zone first.

As far as running faster goes...just run sprints while carrying some extra weight.  Do that for a while, and you might see some results.

    Good luck to you

  2. Video record your swing

studyyour swing and make sure u r doing the right mechanics

swing like u mean make sure u get ur moneys worth.

    do terible tens

Put two cones ten yard apart. Run to one then back do this ten times as fast as you can 6 min later do it again. THe days after do the same exept with a 1.5 minute rest instead of 6. try to improve your times.

  3. -Always stay inside of the ball so you can hit to all fields.

-Avoid swinging at bad pitches; try to learn what pitches in the “strike zone” look like.

-Choose a bat you can handle.

-During practice, have someone watch you who can critique your swing mechanics.

-Hold your bat at a 45-degree angle to avoid unnecessary swing movement.

-Keep your back elbow close to your body.

-Learn what your hitting strengths are and focus on those. Over time, you will learn what pitches are within your strength zone, where you can count on a hard and solid contact.

-Move your hands back a little when the pitcher is preparing to throw the ball, and only go for it if you like the pitch.

-Only take short steps and strides to avoid losing balance.

-Try to position yourself with front shoulders and chin tucked in, hands back, head and eyes still and aimed at the pitcher, and stay on the balls of your feet.

-Spread your feet slightly wider than your shoulders. This will also help you keep your balance.

-Use a slightly downward swing to keep on top of the ball and avoid upper cutting.

when you run a good rule to follow is your arms should reach from your lips to your hips.Once you make contact you want to get out of the box as soon possible the longer you wait in the batter's box the longer you give the fielder to make the play.Run on your toes that will make you faster

just remember whenever you arent practicing there's somebody out there getting better than you and try this http://www.xbox-360-cheat-codes.com/

  4. well i'm a varsity player and i could teach you a lot about hitting

but that can't be done over the computer.

but running i can tell you some.

in order to get faster you simply have

    to constantly run sprints.

run sets of about 10 sprints (100 feet)

about 4 times a week minimum.

and make sure you stay on your toes
