I just got done with my baseball season. It was terrible. This offseason i want to improve my game. I want to dedicate myself to this from now until next year. But the thing is, i dont know what drills i can do around the house/outside/or in my basement to improve bat speed, power, and speed. Help! Any drills will be appreciated!

  1. Weight lifting helps a lot, but if you could get another person on your team to help then ya'll could play fungo, one person hits it to you grounder, line, or fly and you field the balls and then ya'll switch and do the opposite.  OK so that you keep your swing good have the other person pitch to you and after you've hit all the balls you pick'em up and then you pitch and your buddy hits.  To keep your mind in check watch pro-baseball or the Olympics but besides all of this, LIVE, BREATHE, and EAT BASEBALL!

  2. I have created a website service that is adding information daily about baseball and techniques and best practices. I suggest you take a look at it and feel free to email me with any questions at theprospect09@gmail.com. This is a professional service that I provide for the public so that we can educate kids just like you who are trying to pursure their dreams. Good luck and hope to hear from you.

  3. several sites offer tons of drills,

try foam tennis balls off a tee into a net, a Quick swing for batting (it really helped me!!!)

play catch as much as you can (really helped me)

look into one of those bounce back pitching nets for fielding
