Baseball Power Hitting?

Im 14 and 5'4 and i weight about 116

Im a Pretty good Pitcher and hitter

Im a good contact hitter but i cant get the Homerun ball

I play on a 290-300 foot diamond and when i hit the play im like 50 away from the fence every time

i need to tips get a more powerfull swing... LIke Workouts

  1. idk specific workouts, but really work on your lower half


  2. well, in all honesty youre not gonna get 50-60 feet on your ball just by working out.

    if you want to get serious about it and actually change your swing to make it more powerful, i suggest googling Mike Epstein, he teaches the swing that the major leaguers use.

    pro players do NOT swing down on the ball, they actually swing up, and this is not becuase they are trying to hit the ball higher and farther, it is because the ball out of the pitchers hand is traveling downwards, so in order for your bat to stay on plane with the pitch, you need to be swinging upwards

    his swing helped me out tremendously, and im sure itl help you hit for power too
