Baseball card help?

i want to know if you can get jersey cards or autographs in 2008 upper deck or topps packs. cause i only get them in boxes. thx

They're really rare, that's why they're worth so much.  If you buy enough packs, you might get one.  There are also boxes of packs, those are a pretty good deal too.  Like all hobbies, especially collecting, it takes time.  Just have fun with it.

Here is an insider's tip.  Don't buy lose packs from Target or Walmart.  Chances are those packs have been picked clean for autos and game used.  If you buy the single packs in blister packs, you will find some autos, but keep in mind the odss are pretty steep (like 1:32 for UD and 1:68 for Topps).

best advice i can give, being an avid card collector myself, buy the pricier sets and/or go to flea markets and hand select what you want, they'll often work out a price with you too, and show you the cards book value.
