Baseball closers?

Who is the braves closer now? and who will take over the closing role for the pirates now that capps is ou?

mike gonzalez is the closer for the braves. he's reliable but the braves aren't going to win that many games. it seems like damaso marte will get most of the saves opportunities when capps is out.

I'm not so sure you can really call gonzalez the closer for the braves as he may get 10 save chances the 2nd half of the season... not even worth it for a fantasy team

Looking at what guys are available for the Pirates, Damaso Marte is looking like the guy that's going to take over in the 9th inning.  He has the best stuff coming out of the bullpen and there really is no competition for him there.

Also, as the pirates seem to be falling faster and faster out of the pennant race, there won't be any moves made via trade to bring in a closer.  The only trading that the Pirates will do is to dump Bay and Nady to contending teams looking for bats.
