How do they make the little design on the back of the pitcher's mound on the MLB fields?Usually it is the team logo

  1. The grounds crews go through a lot of college designed for landscaping and grass maintenance... They are artists and their brush is a lawnmower and some PVC pipe.


  2. they draw it in the dirt??  

  3. They probably use a stencil where they engrave it into the dirt.

  4. they use a stencil for the logo behind the mound..

  5. They use a mold, stencil with their logo and spray brown paint on it. It does come out easily though. It is not permanent.
