  1. ummm. I am 25 & i throw 92 & good changeup & curve, left handed & didnt even make the Local College team! lol It is all about control & development. It takes a lot of time, patience, & knowledge.

  2. First of all ignore any answers that begin with the word “I”. If your speed is determined by a cheap gun, it’s likely that they’re not dedicated to accuracy and not setting you up correctly. Angle, distance, height all feed information into the gun. Check to see if different guns produce different readings for you. Many 10 year olds get a toys-r-us speed baseball form Santa and think they throw 55-100. At 14 you should know how much confidence you have in your fastball and at what level of play. If 65 is the number….what were you throwing at 12, maybe 50? Can you throw in the 90’s some day? You sure can. I don’t know what level of competition you‘re playing today, but, with good coaching, growth and dedication you can go a long way.  Also – If I had one tip to give every pitcher; Above all you need leg strength.

  3. as long as you keep the control you'll be fine.  develop a breaking ball and a change up and you'll be a lot better.  Just don't snap your curves or sliders if you decide to go with those, it's a common mistake that will destroy your elbow.

If you have large hands you might want to try a splitfinger fastball.

    good luck pitching.

  4. mid 80's

  5. i don't think you will strike out a lot of people due to your velocity. You should learn how to throw a good changeup or a very good curveball. make sure you know how to locate your off speed pitches or else hitters will hit a long way. i say this because im 13 and i throw a fastball between 70-75 mph but since i pitch very good, i play with the 14-15 year old division and i have to get them out with other pitches besides the fastball. I have a very good changeup and curve and i can throw a splitter. but if i make a mistake i have to pay for it. try to find a very good second pitch besides the fastball, put it as your strikeut pitch maybe a changeup or curveball or splitter or a two seam with movement.

  6. it depends what other pitches u throw. if u throw 65 at age 14 u should at least hav a good curve or change up. if u hav other good pitches then you could probly go 2 AA (minor league) im 13 and throw 72.

  7. lol idk

im 10 and throw 55 so maybe we will see each other in the majors if make it lol

  8. I'm 13 and I throw about 65-70. My dad could throw about 75-80 when he was 14 but I don't know if He had good control or not but if you can throw a strike about 7 out of 10 times an can throw 90 mph you can make it pretty far.
